Xintong (Yiyi) Zhang (she/her) is a Research Assistant with the Infant and Child Mental Health Lab and is currently also completing her Undergraduate Specialized Honours Thesis under the supervision of Dr. Bohr. Through her work with the Virtual Qaggiq (VQ) project and her thesis working on dataset from the I-SPARX project, she is grateful for the opportunity to learn from Inuit youth and communities in Nunavut. Her research interests include child and adolescent mental health. After completing her degree, Yiyi plans to pursue graduate studies in psychology, where she hopes to support children and youth in building resilience and accessing mental health care that respects their cultural and community contexts.
