Opportunities

Undergraduate Thesis Students

We accept 1 or 2 BA/BSc Thesis students each academic year. If you have research interests that are compatible with the work of our lab, and you would like to explore the possibility of doing your undergraduate Psychology Thesis in the Bohr Lab, please:

Send a message to Prof. Bohr at bohry@yorku.ca and include in this message:

  • a summary of your research interests, and why you believe those to be compatible with our work
  • any idea (s) you may already have for a research question to tackle in your thesis work
  • your CV or resume
  • a transcript of your grades
  • your availability (when you would be able to begin your work with us, for how many months, for how many hours per week, which day(s) of the week)

Please note that there is usually much competition for our UG Thesis positions; you can greatly improve your chances of being selected by first becoming familiar with our work as a volunteer for the lab (see below).

Thesis students must be available for Lab meetings which will usually take place once a month on Mondays.
