Sofia Flammini

Sofia Flammini (she/her) is a Research Assistant with the Infant and Child Mental Health Lab and a member of the NUWellness Games team. She is completing her undergraduate Honours Psychology degree, with the long‑term goal of becoming a pediatric‑focused Speech‑Language Pathologist. Sofia is deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside Inuit youth and communities in Nunavut. She approaches this work with humility and respect, recognizing the privilege of being welcomed into spaces shaped by rich knowledge, culture, and community strength. She hopes to pursue a future Speech‑Language Pathology placement in Nunavut, where she would be honoured to support child development in ways that align with community priorities and values.
